Mechanical Manufacturing

In Aitiip Technology Centre, there is a machining workshop in which technologies are available for mechanical fabrication of molds, tools and finished parts with a wide range of sizes and technologies, such as high speed machining, conventional machining technologies, EDM and wire EDM, as well as other operations such as machining and polishing using robot.

Conventional Machining

For the conventional machining are three CNC milling machines, two milling machines (CME FCM4000) and a mobile bed (CME HZ30), and a Mustang lathe. These conventional technologies are perfectly complemented by the latest technology at the center of high speed machining and EDM technology and wire EDM.

High Speed Machining

Aitiip Technology Center takes care of every detail to integrate and optimize the use of tools, holders, cooling, CAD / CAM, CNC and of course the use of advanced machine tools, for maximum possible speed for each part type and material.

EDM

The EDM is a manufacturing process also known as electrical discharge machining. The EDM process is the generation of an electric arc between a workpiece and an electrode in a dielectric medium, removing particles from the piece until you get the shape of the electrode. Both workpiece and electrode should be conductors, so you can set the arc causing material removal. In Aitiip we have two different technologies of EDM: by wire and die sinking.

The new integrated machining and polishing technology high accuracy system that we have developed in Aitiip using a KUKA KR 60 HA robot for the automation of operations enables us to deliver improvements in product quality, reducing "time to market" and reduction of manufacturing costs, and conducting operations in a more streamlined way, and therefore invest less resources.
