During EMO Hannover 2017, KRAKEN supported the “International Conference on Additive Manufacturing” and presented the latest developments within the project.
The additive manufacturing (AM) industry is thriving, with end-users from a growing group of sectors that become more and more interested in the capabilities of AM technologies.
José Antonio Dieste, Aitiip researcher and Head of Robotics Department, is presenting the paper "LARGE COMPONENTS MULTIMATERIAL HYBRID MANUFACTURING" in the 10th International Conference on Industrial Tools and Advanced Processing Technologies, which is taking place in Ljubljana, Slovenia, between 24th and 26th April 2017. This paper is describing our developments thanks to #Megarob and Kraken Project.
The KRAKEN project, co-funded under the H2020 programme, is going to integrate various key technologies, such as 3D printing, robotics, 7DoF real time control, complex monitoring and advanced control algorithms, supported by an innovative CAM software, in one machine.
