INN-PAEK: INNovative thermoplastic transformation processes to produce a flange wheel in PAEK reinforced with short fibres.
Programme: H2020 - CLEAN SKY 2 (https://www.cleansky.eu/)
Duration: 30 months, January 2021 to June 2023
Coordinator: AITIIP technology centre (Spain)
Más información: Julio Vidal - https://www.aitiip.com/innpaek.html
The main objective of the INN-PAEK project is to demonstrate the technical, environmental and economic feasibility of manufacturing high added-value parts of an aircraft like the flange-wheel using thermoplastic materials “PAEK”.
To do so, INN-PAEK will redesign classical flange-wheels and their manufacturing processes for injection moulding. The innovations carried out in the INN-PAEK project will help to allow not only economical cost reductions but also a reduction in the environmental impact.
This project has received funding from the Clean Sky 2 Joint Undertaking under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement Nº 101007865 |
