José Antonio Dieste, Aitiip responsible for robotics, have participated today in Industrial Technologies 2016 conference (in Amsterdam), explaining the results of Megarob project.
This lecture have been celebrated in a round table about innovative robotics for the Factories of the Future, in which Dieste has showed what advantages Megarob brings to the sector.
Megarob is an assembly robot on a crane through which it moves, covering a large workspace (20x6x5 meters). The operations are controlled by a program that uses a ranking algorithm programmed into the project environment, and processing the readings of a laser tracker at a rate of 1000 scans per second. Industrial Technologies 2016 is the largest networking conference in the field of new production technologies, materials, nanotechnology, biotechnology and digitalisation in Europe, with high level delegates.
Industrial Technologies 2016 is a three days conference with a wide variety of plenary and interactive sessions, inspiring keynote speakers, case studies, eye-opening site visits and numerous opportunities to get in contact with new business partners.
