The European REMEDIES project has launched "Plastic Fantastic", an international online acceleration program, in which experts from diverse backgrounds across Europe will offer innovative solutions about the useful life of plastics, with the aim of reformulating, in a sustainable way, their life cycles. This six-month program will start in April 2024 with a Bootcamp and an international Hackathon.

During this period of time, environmental experts and companies, water and environmental activists, as well as entrepreneurs will work together to further develop solutions aimed at the detection, monitoring, collection, recovery and prevention, as well as reuse of plastic waste. The three most impactful solutions will be supported by a large and diverse community of experts at the Athens Impact Hub.
